«ZVEZDA» JSC /Saint-Petersburg/ supplied the main engines (diesel engines of 16/17 dimension, domestic manufacture) for modernization of the Russian Federation President’s representative yacht "Kavkaz".
   May 24, 2002 JSC «Almaz» Shipbuilding company /Saint-Peterburg/ delivered the President’s modernized representative yacht "Kavkaz" to the Federal frontier service.The yacht, which was built in the 70-s at the manufacturing corporation «Almaz», designed at the Central Marine Design Bureau «Almaz». The contract for repair and modernization of the yacht "Kavkaz" was signed between JSC «Almaz» Shipbuilding company and the Federal frontier service, the customer, 2 November, 2001. The hull and the main ship’s systems were repaired, the main engines of the yacht were changed, the modern radio-navigation equipment was installed in the framework of the contract.
