|    1.HULL Hull strength is provided for specification sailing conditions. Plating and supporting structure Transverse framing of the ship is made by a mounted scheme except for the engine-room. Ribs and beams bear on longitudinal reinforcing ribs of the plating and are joined with the plating through spacers. Transverse plating in the engine-room is slotted. The distance between hull ribs is 600 mm, between superstructure ribs - 1200 mm. Transverse and longitudinal framing is made of solid-drawn sections of T-section and angle T-section. Stiffenings are provided in the area of wing cantilevers, rudder spindle in the hull. Hull plating, transverse bulkheads and deck planking are made of pressed panels of 1,8...2,0 õ 6,0…8,0 m Thickness 3…4 mm. Superstructure panel is made of sheets, which longitudinal framing is mounted on the spot welding on glue. Material Marine corrosion-resisting aluminium alloy: -rolled metal and sheets alloy 1561ÁM; 1561M and 1550M -pressed panels alloy 1561M -pressed profiles alloy 1561 Hull and superstructure elements are joined with argon-arc welding. The height between the deck in a passenger saloon is 2,4m) The distance from the deck to the cladding of the upper deck top ceiling is 1,95m. Fender guards and crinolines Fender guards are located beneath the windows line at the level of the main deck. Crinolines are mounted on the area of bow and aft foil arrangements at the level of the main deck. Masts The mast must be made of aluminium, lights, aerials and radar are located on it. One flagstaff. Mast height is 4,5 m. The mast is collapsible to the aft.
|    2.PROPULSION DEVICES Diesel engines of propulsion system Manufacturer: MTU company, Germany Model: 12V396 TE74 Two four-cycle marine diesel engines with direct fuel injection, turbosupercharger, injected air cooler, electric starter for 24V, as a unit with one DC charging generator, voltage - 28 V, power 8 kW, hydraulic pump, sea-water pump (on one main engine) and buffers. Nominal power of every main engine is 1260kW at 1900rev/min. Service life of the engine before first overhaul is 9000hours. Control of main engines is carried out from a remote control station from the wheelhouse and from the local control station in the engine-room with the help of electronic system of MTU company. Transmission Reverse reduction gears of ZF (Germany) with built-in thrust blocks have transmission ratio 1,18 and are joined with the main engine with a help of cardan shaft. Reduction gears are mounted on the buffers. Reverse reduction gears and cardan shafts are delivered complete with the main engines. Propulsion devices Two five-blade fixed-pitch propellers are used as propulsion devices. Propellers are driven through inclined propeller shafts.
|    3.ELECTRIC PLANT Power generationCurrent of the main current network is DC 27V. Auxiliary network – 380V, 50 Hz and 220V 50Hz. Emergency network – 24V DC. Supply of ship’s customers from a shore AC network 50Hz 380V with a help of a cable through a feeder switchboard from the shore and rectifier, installed on the ship. Ship’s generator Main d.c. generators, power 8kW each, hung on the main engines. Manufacturer – “Bosch”, Germany. Auxiliary diesel generator – 3x50 Hz, 380V, power - 44 kW of “Deutz” company, Germany. Manufacturer of diesel for generator drive is "Deutz" company, Germany. Manufacturer of a.c. generator is "Leran Ñomer", France.
|    4.AUXILIARY SYSTEMS Air-conditioning system Air-conditioning system is designed for air treatment and its supply to the rooms to provide comfortable conditions. The system consists of three air-conditioners of "Daikin" firm, Japan, salt-water pump for their cooling and pipelines with fittings. Air-conditioners operate in the following modes: air cooling, ventilation and air heating (by Customer’s wish). The conditioners are fed from ship’s network 50Hz 380V. The conditioners are switched off automatically when fire-extinguishing system of the engine-room is switched on. Outside water system Outside water system provides: -Cooling of main engines, reduction gears and diesel generator. -Lubrication of stern-shaft bearings and intermediate drive shafting brackets. -Oil cooling in the hydraulic system -Cooling of air-conditioners -Water delivery to the water-supply system Water is received to the system through a water scoop, located on a centerline strut of a stern foil. System pipelines are made of copper-nickel alloy. Scupper holes Scupper holes are designed for: -venting overboard of water, appearing on bow boarding platforms -water venting from toilet decks to a sewage tank. Side flaps and drain valves are installed for removal of water from passenger saloons and stern saloon, coming on the main deck in emergency situations. Drainage system Drainage system is designed for periodic removal of water overboard, accumulating in the ship’s hull during her operation. Two electric pumps are used as drainage means – the main one, and the reserve one (conditioner cooling pump) and the pump hung on the main engine. Fresh-water system Drinking-water system is designed for receiving, storing and delivery of drinking water to a bar and to wash-stands. Drinking water is stored in a tank of stainless steel. Drinking water is received by a closed method from a city water-pipe through a manhole on the superstructure deck. Fuel storage and fueling Fuel is stored in two built-in hull tanks. The tanks are equipped with level sensors, ventilation and quick-closing fittings. Main fire-extinguishing system Fire extinguishing in the rooms on the main deck and in the hull compartments is performed by water system. Extinguishing is performed by a straight stream from fire hoses with combined hand fire nozzles. Water is delivered to the system from an electric pump, delivery is 21 m3/h, with a head 60 m of water head. The pipeline of the system is made of pipes of copper alloy. Anchor-handling gear The ship has one anchor of increased holding power, 100kg mass. Anchorage depth is up to 20 m. Anchor is raised by a hydraulic driven anchor winch. Maximum draft force is 14 kN. Steel anchor rope length is 106 m. The winch has hand drive power, brake and sensor of scope of cable. Anchor winch is controlled from a special panel, installed in the area of the winch. |    |    |    |    |    |
