  Sea-going passenger hydrofoil "Birjuza-200"

   Type of the ship - sea-going passenger hydrofoil.
Purpose of the ship- conveyance of passengers in the daytime.
Navigation area - inland waterways and seas, distance from port up to 50 miles.
Class - ÊM[2]A3 passenger hydrofoil to Russian Maritime Register of Shipping classification, taking into account Rules of classification and construction of high-speed ships, 1998.
The vessel complies with the requirements of the Russian and international normative documents on safety of navigation and environmental protection.

   1.HULL
The ship hull is sharp bilge formed with V-type bottom. Corrosion-resisting aluminium-magnesium alloy 1561 is used as a structural material of the hull and deck house. The hull is made of moulded panels and profiles, awning deck and wheelhouse are made of plates and moulded profiles.
Hull structures are joined by the arc-argon welding and point contact welding with glue.

   2.FOIL SYSTEM
The foil device consists of 2 foils: bow foil and after foil.
Foils material: bow foil and after foil – stainless steel.
Structures are joined by welding.

   3.SHIP ARRANGEMENTS
The ship is equipped with the following arrangement: steering gear, anchor gear, mooring and towing gears, masting, life rails and lines, as well as collective and personal life-saving appliances in compliance with the requirements of the Russian Shipping Register.

   4.SHIP SYSTEMS
The following hull systems are onboard: drain and oiled bilge water system, CO2 fire-extinguishing system, domestic water system, sewage water system, domestic water discharge system, general ventilation system, air conditioning system, engine room ventilation system, hydraulic system and galvanic protection system of the bottom.

   5.POWERPLANT
Two diesels of MTU firm with V-type arrangement of cylinders, water cooling and intermediate cooling of supercharging air are used as the main engines.
Auxiliary electric power plant comprises diesel-generator of DEUTZ company with 44 kW capacity, 3 x 380V AC 50 Hz.

   6.POWERPLANT SYSTEMS
Shipborne powerplant systems include: fuel system, oil system, fresh and outside water cooling system, system of air supply to engine room, main engines and diesel-generator gas vent system, main engines and auxiliary engines control system. Automation is provided for control system, monitoring system, alarm warning signaling and protection of main engines and auxiliary engine, technical aids.

   7.SHAFT LINES AND PROPELLERS
The ship has two shaft lines, installed at an angle of 13 to the basic plane, each of them is joined hard to the reduction gear flange of the main engine.
Two five-bladed propellers are provided on the ship as a propulsion device.

   8.ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
Electrical energy distribution is provided on the ship, three-phase alternate current of 380V, single-phase alternate current of 220V, direct current of 24-27V. Four DC generators with main engines’s drive, diesel-generator, accumulator batteries and shore power supplies are used as electric power supplies.
Radionavigation equipment meets the Register rules and international requirements, which provides safe operation of the ship.
